Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles is offering a 1-year fellowship in body imaging. The fellowship provides a comprehensive educational experience in an active imaging department with a high volume of clinical cases.
We have a dedicated team of attending faculty committed to teaching with expertise in all applications of body imaging. Research is a very important attribute to a quality fellowship program and an abundance of research projects are available along with mentoring and support. It is our goal to develop the medical knowledge, patient care skills and confidence essential to providing competent, independent patient care.
We have expanded our program and have an additional position available for July 2008, and 2 positions available for July 2009.

Radiology Manager
San Juan Regional Medical Center, a 240-bed acute care hospital is currently seeking a Radiology Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the radiology division, ensure employee efficiency, and provide the leadership qualities that express enthusiasm and vitality in healing through the imaging arts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides leadership in a professional and technical level pursuant to San Juan Regional’s Values; Insures adequate staffing coverage in radiology department; Updates and maintains policies and procedures for department; Participates in selection of equipment and employees for work area; Oversees budgetary process for department (Capital/Operating); Ensures that the radiology department meets state, federal and other regulatory agency requirements; Works with hospital administration to insure the quality of care in the department.
Experience
B.S. or equivalent of 5 years leadership-supervisory experience in Healthcare setting required. Completion of a formal Radiological Technology Program; AEER Registered or Registry Eligible; NM State certification for Radiological Technology preferred.
