You and Rachel, both RDMS techs, have been some of the handful of techs that have been my biggest support and inspiration. Can you beleive that we met in 1999, on one of my last traveling assignments. You guys have come a long way too!
El Paso, TX to MAINE!
All my love, and see you soon!
You know but now everyone else that reads this will know too, that I came into Radiology due soley to you. In my high school years, when trying to figure out "what I wanted to be when I grew up", I looked up to you in such a large way.
As a child, I always thought that I would be a veterinarian like my father, but when time drew closer, I ended up choosing Radiology. There has never been a moment that I regretted "going to x-ray school". I'm very blessed to have my career and to have a great friend in you.
MRI
Ultrasound, Vascular, and Echo-IF REGISTERED AND EXPERIENCED (market is flooded with new graduates who cannot find their first job)
Modalties that are COLD:
Xray
Nuc med
Radiation Therapy
Modalites that are WARM:
Specials, Cardiac Cath
CT
Mammo
Mgmt
Reason: schools were flooded the past 5 years, some states have limited licenses now which took alot of the xr positions away from the ARRT techs, reimburesements are becoming very low, economy stress.
Hope this helps!
