Tabletop Imager
Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa HealthCare introduces the Drystar™ AXYS™ tabletop imager, a centralized, hardcopy system designed to fit a full range of applications, such as mammography, CT, MRI and computed radiography. The Drystar AXYS offers an image resolution of 508 dpi, and with its very short access time, delivers the five first prints quickly.
In addition, the Drystar AXYS meets demanding image quality requirements, such as mammography and rheumatology. The imager also incorporates Direct Digital Imaging technology, which is software that controls every pixel in an image for consistent image quality.
Because film used by the Drystar AXYS is 100 percent non-light sensitive, film can be loaded or removed from the input trays without concern for ambient light. The two fully flexible input trays of the Drystar AXYS accept a variety of film sizes and types, offering the choice of five film sizes and three film types (blue-clear-mammography), meeting the diverse film requirements of a busy centralized workflow.
